Locally Led Walks Through Canterbury's Living History in Canterbury

Our story

Locally Led Walks Through Canterbury's Living History

Resonant Walks UK is a Canterbury-based guided tours company dedicated to bringing the city’s past and present into vivid conversation. Our guides are local historians, theatre professionals and accredited Blue Badge guides who design tours that are accurate, engaging and accessible. We focus on small groups to ensure a personal experience and reduce impact on the city. Routes explore landmarks such as Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey, the Westgate Towers, and the ancient lanes that inspired Chaucer and Marlowe. We also offer bespoke private walks for families, schools and corporate groups and place strong emphasis on responsible tourism, supporting local businesses and conserving the special character of Canterbury for future visitors and residents.

Our routes through Canterbury are planned for curious travellers who want context as well as landmarks. Each experience balances well-known highlights with quieter streets, local stories and time for questions.

Resonant Walks UK works with knowledgeable local hosts who keep groups comfortable, explain practical meeting details clearly and adapt their delivery to the pace and interests of the guests.

Every booking begins with transparent information about duration, accessibility, inclusions and price. Private itineraries can be adjusted by agreement before the tour, helping visitors make the most of their time in Canterbury.
